Under the leadership of Carlos Ghosn, Groupe Renault has made a significant investment in the Renault Sport Formula One Team over the past two years, with the aim being to fight for the FIA Formula 1 World Championship titles by 2020. The team's bases are split between Enstone, England (chassis) and Viry-Chattillon, France (engine). For 2019, the team's race drivers are Nico Hulkenberg (German) and Daniel Ricciardo (Australian), with Jack Aitken as the Test Driver.
Campos Racing was founded in 1997 by ex-F1 driver Adrian Campos, who went on to guide a young Fernando Alonso on his way to the top of the sport. Based in Spain, it has enjoyed success in a number of different categories - including F2 and its predecessor GP2 - winning races with drivers such as Giorgio Pantano, Vitaly Petrov, Lucas di Grassi and Rio Haryanto.
